| چکیده | ||
| The job performance of surveying and urban planning engineers is affected by numerous psychological and organizational factors due to the specialized, precision-oriented, and stressful nature of this profession. Job stress can lead to reduced efficiency, increased professional errors, and decreased performance quality, while psychological capital, as one of the effective individual resources, plays an important role in improving performance and job adaptation. The present study aimed to structurally model the relationship between job stress, psychological capital, and job performance in surveying engineers in Ahvaz. This research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of method, using structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research consisted of all urban planning surveying engineers working in companies and technical and engineering organizations in Ahvaz in 2026. A sample of 312 people was selected using cluster random sampling method. Data were collected through Spivey's job stress questionnaire, Luthans et al.'s psychological capital questionnaire, and Patterson's job performance questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS-27 and AMOS-24 software. The results showed that job stress has a direct and negative effect on job performance (β=-0.41, p<0.001) and psychological capital (β=-0.53, p<0.001). Psychological capital also had a direct and positive effect on job performance (β=0.47, p<0.001). The results of the indirect effects analysis showed that psychological capital plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between job stress and job performance (β=-0.25, p<0.001). The model fit indices also indicated the optimal fit of the proposed model. | ||
