| چکیده | ||||
| One of the macro-economic goals in the most countries is access to higher levels of GDP per capita. A production boom by utilizing all the production capacities and also creating a mechanism that can provide new production capacities can make a significant contribution to domestic production. Therefore, it seems important to recognize the factors affecting GDP per capita. One of the most important factors that affect GDP per capita is achieving and stabilizing high levels of infrastructure required for production as well as the market situation of each country, while providing infrastructure is known as one of the initial steps on the production path. The quality of market access and its nature can also affect production potential. Therefore, the present study examines the effect of infrastructure and market access convergence on GDP per capita of 55 selected countries during 2007-2023 using the panel data method with the GLS regression approach. Despite the existence of theoretical foundations in this regard, this study examines it empirically. The results show that improving access to communications, water, energy and transportation, as indicators of infrastructure, as well as improving the quality of border management, the optimization of import tariffs, access to an open market and reducing market distortions as indicators of market access, have a positive effect on the GDP per capita. In comparison, the largest coefficient of influence among the indicators of infrastructure and market access convergences on the GDP per capita convergence belongs to the open market, energy, and communications indicators, respectively. . | ||||
