| چکیده | ||
| The aim of the present study was to predict marital satisfaction based on early maladaptive schemas with the mediating role of marital self-regulation among female teachers. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of all female teachers in the city of Arak during the winter of 2024, from whom 200 participants were selected using convenience sampling. The research instruments included the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale, the Behavioral Self-Regulation Scale for Effective Relationships, and the short form of Young’s Schema Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results indicated that the proposed structural model demonstrated a good fit with the collected data, and marital self-regulation played a mediating role in the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and marital satisfaction among female teachers. Accordingly, it is recommended that educational programs and counseling interventions specifically designed for employed women focus on identifying maladaptive schemas and strengthening emotion regulation and marital self-regulation skills, in order to enhance the quality of family relationships and the psychological well-being of this group. | ||
